First day of VII International Forum and Exhibition of Technological Development TECHNOPROM-2019 is finished in Novosibirsk. About 30 activities took place as part of the business program. At the opening ceremony of TECHNOPROM-2019 Andrey Travnikov, Governor of the Novosibirsk Region reported that more than 8,500 people shall take part in the Forum within 3 days.
“It is five times more than the number of participants at the first TECHNOPROM. This fact is quite important and very pleasant. Moreover, a very significant topic is specified at TECHNOPROM-2019: we shall discuss urgent tasks, actually, super tasks: how to accelerate scientific and technological development, how to ensure cooperation between all the participants in order to accomplish the task: the science, industry, business, authorities”, Andrey Travnikov pointed out.
Main activity of the first day of the Forum was plenary session “Science of a New Era: Transformation Technologies” during which Sergey Menyaylo, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Siberian Federal District claimed that commercialization of science shall enhance its development.
“There is such notion: commercialization of science. It may enhance implementation of scientific R&D results, fill gaps (in production), products that we manufacture. Particularly, by using defense industry technologies”, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy said.
At the meeting of the working group of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the sphere of “Education and Science” devoted to creation of RECs of international level Andrey Travnikov noted that in addition to the REC on the basis of SB RAS, one more center, namely, medical, is required in Novosibirsk.
“Many regions believe that more than one research and educational center (REC) is required within their territory. Novosibirsk Region is one of them. We can see that at least 2 RECs (namely, general and medical) shall be created in the region”, Andrey Travnikov said.
At plenary session “Innovations in Medicine: Modern Stages of Formation and Development” the participants discussed the role of cell technologies in medicine. Thus, according to Vladimir Kozlov, Head of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution Research Institute of Fundamental and Clinical Immunology, specialists of the Institute have started to train doctors in cell biotechnologies for the first time in Russia.
“For the first time in Russia our university has started to train specialists, working title “doctor, cell biotechnologist” and lectures on cell technologies, targeted therapy, general immunology are given. That is why we are the first in Russia to start such training of specialists for future particular goals”, Vladimir Kozlov pointed out.
At the meeting of the heads of military-industrial complex companies in the Siberian Federal District “Transfer of Technologies: Areas and Mechanisms for Technology Cooperation between the Military Industrial Complex, Science and Local Industry” Aleksey Borovkov, Vice Rector of Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University said that physical tests of machines shall give way to virtual tests in order to reduce test periods.
“Digital (virtual) twin of the car shall run 100 th km per day along the digital (virtual) twin of the test site and a real car shall run a real test site for a year. Subsequently, that is where the performance increases dramatically”, Aleksey Borovkov explained.
Within the framework of TECHNOPROM-2019 the exhibition opened, its area was 2 th m2. 70 exhibiting companies took part in it. Russian companies presented their inventions to Aleksandr Zhukov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Sergey Menyaylo, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Siberian Federal District and Andrey Travnikov, Governor of the Novosibirsk Region.
Six cooperation agreements were signed and the press conference with the participation of Oleg Fomichev, Director for Strategic Planning and Development, JSC ComplexProm was held in the press center.
TECHNOPROM International Forum of Technological Development takes place in Novosibirsk on September 18-20. In 2019 its main topic is “Science of a New Era: Transformation Technologies”. Business program includes more than 90 activities. Last year about 8 thousand people visited the Forum. Government of the Russian Federation, Government of the Novosibirsk Region, Office of the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Siberian Federal District and Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences are organizers of the event.

On September 20, VII International Forum and Exhibition of Technological Development TECHNOPROM-2019 ended. More than 90 activities took place as part of the business program. During the round table called “How to Bring Scientific and Educational Centers to International Level”, Deputy Director of Public Scientific, Scientific and Technical and Innovation Policy Department of the Ministry Andrey Anikeyev informed that the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation plans to present development programs of the first five Russian scientific and education centers in Europe and Japan.More details
